How did wedding planner make your day special?
I truly had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Michelle Kinne of Blue Dahlia Events. I was lucky enough to have Michelle involved from the very beginning. In the initial stages of planning, Michelle helped me to articulate my vision without ever pressing her own opinions on me. For example, Michelle led me to a color scheme that I would never have come up with on my own but I felt like it was meant for me. Michelle provided me with color palettes and numerous design boards featuring flowers, table arrangements, and motifs. She always listened to my opinions and ultimately I was so happy with all of my choices! Michelle made the initial planning stage fun and stress free and her creativity really impacted my final choices.
Michelle was an invaluable resource during the final weeks leading up to the wedding. She contacted all of our vendors and made a very detailed schedule for the day of the wedding. From the feedback I received, the vendors were very impressed with her warmth and professionalism. Stress levels were running high for both my mother and me in the weeks leading up to the wedding and Michelle really eased our burden. She made sure we were always aware of what she was doing but she really took charge and greatly eased our workload. With my busy work schedule leading up to the wedding, I really don’t know how I could have pulled it off without Michelle.
Michelle also really helped us to coordinate our marriage ceremony. Though Mark and I wrote the ceremony ourselves, it was Michelle that really took charge in terms of the processional, positioning, and the recessional. Michelle was in charge of our ceremony rehearsal and she made sure it was very efficient. She was able to take charge and make everyone fall into line without ever being overbearing or rude. Due to her efficiency, we were well rehearsed and enjoying our rehearsal dinner in no time!
The day of our wedding Michelle seemed to be in a million places at once without ever appearing to be stressed out. She helped to coordinate the vendors, supervise pictures, keep us on our time schedule, and sew a button on Mark’s Tux, all without even breaking a sweat! I can’t even begin to imagine all the work Michelle was doing behind the scenes as our wedding day unfolded smoothly before us. If you can’t afford to hire a wedding planner, you must at least consider hiring Michelle for day off coordination. She was our wedding day angel!!!
