Minneapolis/St Paul wedding photographer Cheryl Neuharth has been shooting weddings since 2001, and has a passion for her wedding work. With a stylish eye and sentiment for the day, Cheryl knows beauty when she sees it. "I approach each wedding with my personal style of documentary photography, watching for the high points, the wedding details at work and most importantly, the emotion, while keeping in mind the specific needs of my clients. Some people don't want their pictures to look like 'everyone else's' and some people want the basics, with a twist. I ask my couples beforehand what they want and don't want included in the work." Cheryl offers a free engagement session before the wedding as a way to get to know her clients, and for a chance to work together before the big day.
What was your favorite wedding photo?
My favorite photo from the wedding day was one of me kissing my husband with the blue sky in the background and a beautiful angle of the church's steeple above us. So classic.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits?
Cheryl did a wonderful job of watching the day unfold and telling the story through pictures. I know that she realized the specialness of the day and wanted it to happen as it should while she watched and documented without being intrusive.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers?
Our package included an engagement session, 6 hours the day of, a dvd of the digital negatives and online proofing/ordering.
