“I admit booking a videographer was a bit of an afterthought for us. Early on in our planning process I was really concerned with getting all the big things booked and within budget. Our photographer was the first thing, followed shortly thereafter by venue and catering. It wasn't until someone here at the magazine asked me who our videographer was that I even contemplated squeezing it into the tight budget. So I opened up an Oregon Bride magazine and called up Sunflower Digital [Films], our 2008 ‘Best Of Bride’ winner for videographer. And ladies, it was the best decision I made during the entire wedding process. As much as I adore our photos, I absolutely love watching our video. There are so many things [photos] can't capture. Plus, as you all know, the day in itself is a blur and you will inevitably miss things going on around you. I am so glad that [Sunflower Digital] caught these precious moments on film and that I can relive the most wonderful day of my life over and over again. I feel like the film captured the essence of who we are as a couple. We laugh and joke around a lot, as do our friends and wedding party and that really came through on our film.
If your on the fence about a videographer, I would strongly recommend finding one. Both my mom and I agreed it was the best thing we spent money on.”
