My favorite part of capturing weddings isn’t necessarily that gleam in his eye when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time, the first kiss they share as husband and wife, or the way he holds her close in his arms during the first dance. I love all those things, but what I love the most are the in-between moments. When the bride’s father has to stop outside the door and compose himself before seeing his little girl and giving her away. When she bites her lip to hold back tears (but they come anyway) while her husband is making his vows to her. When the groom holds onto his bride after the song has ended because he doesn’t want to let her go. These are the moments that are most important. These moments show the love you share with each other. And these moments are the ones you will want to cherish for the rest of your lives together.
As the years go by and your relationship grows stronger by the day, don’t think of your wedding day as the happiest day of your life – but the start of many happy days to follow.
Anyone can take pretty pictures. I want to capture your love!
What was your favorite wedding photo?
My favorite photo is such a hard decision.
Engagement: My fiance and I, back to back playing video games and smirking at each other
Bridal: Me looking out the window smiling
Wedding: My themed flower girl and ring bearer holding a picture frame with us in it kissing, the kids covered their eyes. ALSO, she did an AWESOME paparazzi picture that is hilarious and kind of awesome.
How did the wedding photographer avoid disrupting the day? Great with candids? Action shots? Portraits?
To be honest, I hardly noticed her and her husband were there, but they got SO many pictures I didn't know they had seen. There are so many candids that I will charish. There were so MANY action shots that I can't choose between, so many amazing ones. Portraits, we are STILL trying to chose between all the great ones for a big canvas in our livingroom.
What was included in your wedding photo package? Albums? DVDs? Engagement pics? Two photographers?
Engagement, Bridal, 8 hours, a thumb drive with all pictures, a online gallery, two photographers, and a personal gift. Not to mention personal and professional advice from day one, to many days after the wedding.
How did the photographer make you and family comfortable?
She has always shown concern with health issues and even personal insecurities. She makes you feel gorgeous, and your family feel a part of everything. No one felt isolated or left out. She really makes the whole experience wonderful
