How did wedding planner make your day special?
I used Diamond Events by Tiffany for my wedding in December. I hired her kind of last minute and she took over and made everything go so well. My mom actually recomended her because she did an event for her at work and they had a great time. She was organised and made sure all of the vendors knew where to be at the right time. They made a time line and gave the announcements to the DJ and everything was perfect. She arrived at the place where we had our reception early and got all of the decorations in place and set the tables. Our centerpeices did not stand up like they were supposed to so she got her partner to bring up some holders from their inventory and she redesigned them and they were perfect. I was amazed that she came up with something so last minute. She directed the entire day, just taking control and making sure everything was perfect. I wish I had hired her from the start of my planning.
She also made sure everyone in the wedding party was ready on time and lined them up for the wedding. She was at the hall before I was and as soon as I got there to get dressed, she made my day perfect. She made sure I had something to eat for lunch and just made me feel like it was all about ME. I did not have to do anything since her people were there. It was a great day.
Useful suggestions, tips, wisdom your planner offered?
She advised me to just enjoy the day and let her deal with the behind the scenes stuff. I wish I had listened to my mom when I first got engaged about hiring a planner.
How the planner reduced your inner-Bridezilla?
When my centerpeices did not work, I DIYed them, she just fixed them and they were so much better. They were taller and looked better than what I had done myself.
