If you just happen to be wondering what I'm seeing that's good out at market this year--here's where my eyeballs landed. For me, there's one word to describe spring/summer 2014: 'easy going'.
Designers are finally getting away from dresses that have everything including the kitchen sink thrown in--ruffles, lacey boned bodices with more ruffles and huge trains following.
I'm looking at 2014 and seeing dresses by Vera Wang, Carolina Hererra and Romona Keveza that seem organic--as if the bride could wear it like a second skin--one flowing line from head to toe with impeccable detail.
A bit theatrical but still flaunting the less is more minimalism are Don O'Neill's pieces for Theia White Bridal. Stunning!!! Check out the long flowing sleeves circa 1930's.
