Introducing It's A Jaime Thing- One of our Fabulous Weekly Guest Bloggers!

Hi Everyone! My name is Jaime, I'm a wedding blogging, high-heel wearing, dark chocolate loving, red wine drinking Chicago girl who loves to plan, create, try to inspire & make people smile! I write the wedding blog at www.itsajaimething.com.

My love for weddings came after I planned my own with my loving husband before we were married in 2003. It continued to grow after helping friends and family plan their weddings, showers and other events. To help organize all of my ideas, findings and inspiration into one spot, I created the wedding blog I write, It’s A Jaime Thing back in August of 2007.

While the main focus on my blog is to bring you wedding inspiration, you'll find that many of the ideas posted there can be used to style and inspire your home and life as well. Flowers, decor, fashion, style, gift ideas, craft ideas, shoe love and true love are just a few of the things I enjoy writing about. Realizing how expensive and stressful planning a wedding can sometimes be, I also try to provide realistic planning advice and affordable options topped with a little bit of humor...to help keep your sanity!

Since the blog started, I've also enjoyed having the opportunity to meet and network with some really fabulous wedding industry professionals, designers and editors who inspire me every day. I was thrilled last year to have been invited to the Brides.com Wedding Bloggers Luncheon I attended in NYC where I met Editor-In-Chief of Brides.com, Michelle Preli, her amazing staff, wedding gown designer Angel Sanchez and a handful of very talented bloggers!

This Spring of 2009, I'll be launching my newly redesigned site and can't wait to share it with you all! It's been quite the ride so far and now I'm so excited and honored to be included as a weekly guest blogger for www.onewed.com. I promise to try my best to hopefully inspire you.
