Whether your wedding is an all-out DIY extravaganza or you're just using a couple of handmade touches, there are cool and creative ways to add a little DIY to your day, without losing your mind or spending a ton of money. Here are my five favorite ideas (and full instructions can be found via the source links):
DIY Ceremony Aisle Runner
This bride DIY'd a 30 foot aisle runner complete with a timeline of their relationship. She also put a crossword on the back of their program and most of the answers could be found on the aisle runner, so guests had some fun while they waited for the wedding ceremony to start! Brilliant!
Vintage paper envelope liners
Envelope liners are such a nice touch to add to your wedding invitation suite, but all those invitation extras can get pricey. So...make them yourself!
DIY Drink Stirs
Your signature cocktail is naked without these, plus they are a fun way to add a little bit of your personalities into your wedding.
DIY Tassel Garland
Tassel garland is the new bunting (although I still really love bunting!) and it can work for vintage, rustic, and modern weddings alike!
DIY No-Sew Napkins
This one had me at "no-sew!" I love personalized linens at a wedding: napkins, table runners, or all of the above. But this DIY scores major bonus points for needing no sewing skills. And I love that seersucker fabric too.
Which is your favorite? Who is brave enough to try one and then share the results!?
